The most common route from all major cities is to take or join the M5 southbound to Exeter. At Exeter, the M5 becomes the A38 dual carriageway which travels through Devon towards Plymouth, a journey of about 45 miles. Keep on the A38 past Plymouth and carry on over the Tamar Bridge into Cornwall. Continue on the A38 for about 8 miles until you reach the roundabout at Trerulefoot. Turn left on to the A374 at this roundabout, signposted Torpoint and Looe. After 1.3 miles, turn right on to the A387, clearly signposted Looe. On reaching Looe, continue on the A387 across the bridge and towards Polperro. The car park is on your right as you enter Polperro.(Car park Sat Nav PL13 2PL)
